A long time ago there was a planet in the middle of the universe called Ainashiko; it was the ruling planet over all the others, and on this particular planet were a race of beings called chaiura, particularly Inu chaiuras, but there were other races of chaiura there as well.
What are chaiura you may ask? Chaiura are beings that are humanoid in appearance, but they also carry the chioki of an animal. Chioki is the power that makes up the chaiuras and makes them take on a larger animalistic form.
In that kingdom was a King and Queen that ruled over the universe, and both were loved by all. For a long time, the queen thought she was barren and would never bare her mate an heir because they had tried to conceive pups and weren’t successful. So when the thought of the queen being barren both decided to adopt a young Inu pup and that’s just what they did, and soon came home with a male pup named Doshi. Soon after adopting the young pup the queen had finally gotten the news that she was finally pregnant. Six months later she birth to four pups total a boy and three girls.
The birth of the four pups was celebrated throughout the kingdom and the parties lasted weeks. But the joy and happiness was soon lost when the King found his beloved Queen in the arms of another chaiura and was now pregnant with his pups.
As soon as the Queen caught wind of the King knowing about her betrayal she started to grow bitter towards two of her pups, even more so to her eldest daughter Selena who resembled the king so much including in power that she couldn‘t bear to see or be around them. So it was then that the Queen had decided that she would separate the two girls for now, and that’s what she did.
When the girls were old enough to fend for themselves Selena was given to others to be taken care of and her sister Serena was given to a close friend. The queen’s friend had wanted pups greatly, but for some reason was unable to, so the pair decided that Serena would be given to her, but it was discussed that both girls had to be kept apart and that they could never know of each other. The friend understood the Queen’s request and soon left with Serena in her arms.
When the King found out about his pups being separated like they were, he couldn’t bear being with his mate any longer and they had their mating annulled. For now the former king, now a lord would leave his precious pups with his former mate, and wait for the day that he knew Selena would become powerful enough to come seek him out.
The Queen eventually settled down with her new mate Eien and had his cubs. The former king also found himself a new mate that he was very happy with.
Soon after all the pups were old enough the former king and queen both decided that there would be two competitions.
The first competition would be between her first litter of pups and that of her current mates when they were older. The purpose of this competition was to determine which one of her pups would rule Ainashiko after her rule was done and the second competition would be for her female pups to find mates. For the first competition, she was determined to get one of her other pups to win other than Selena whom she knew would win just because of the power she held. Even at such a young age, she displayed great powers to rival that of the former Kings’.
So as time went by all the pups began training for the day that the competitions would take place, and that’s where we find ourselves today. The competitions are drawing near, and all the pups are getting ready for them. For soon all the pups would know who would be the best.
